Why TickStorm?

The number 1 question we are asked is "How did you come up with TickStorm for your name?"

While we were going through the process of picking a name for ourselves we came up with many great ideas, only to discover that they were taken (sometimes by companies similar to our own). We had even gone to great lengths to create our logos and begin the process of marketing.

Several years back I used TickStorm as a username to get a point across to a student. I suggested it to the group and we immediately began working on the concept.

Upon our initial search on Google for TickStorm nothing came up. We have several pages dedicate to us now.

The primary reason for the name is that no one else has it. We are the only ones. Since then we have trademarked the name (sorry it can't be used for clubs, bands, or other groups without our consent).

The name is odd, we know it. Some of us are too! :)
