Defend
Ironton!
(Small town, Big Problems!)
In the year 2010 the city of Ironton, Ohio secured a
manufacturing contract with “Outstanding Outworld
Production Staff (OOPS)” manufacturing. The company
purchased the land where the Ironton Iron plant used to
be. On opening day Hundreds of Ironton and surrounding
area workers entered the plant to begin their first day…
They were never seen again. The plant closed its doors
but production was unimaginable! Out of the plant came a
seemingly never ending stream of machines never before
seen in the Tri-State area, or any where else on Earth
for that matter.

Soon the entire region was being
overtaken by an army of beings not of this world. The
“World Organization Of Technology” (WOOT) as they have
become known. As the residents of Ironton, Ashland, and
Huntington realized the extent this menace threatened
their very lives they began to flee in droves. Seeing
the vast exodus, the enemy created an impenetrable field
surrounding the entire region, keeping in any who would
try to escape, and keeping out any who could help.

Several of the local Merchants and
residents banded together to form an alliance to rid the
Tri-State area (and the Earth) of this scourge. Their
weapons, technology, tactics, all primitive compared to
that of their enemy, but they fought none the less. They
called themselves freedom fighters. They gave their very
lives.
Realizing that the battle was fruitless
without newer technology the "BOFFERS" (Brotherhood of
Freedom Fighters) decided to infiltrate the
manufacturing plant to steal data, to even the odds, and
to get revenge…
